our baby girl turns ONE in just 4 days – how can that be?!

one year ago today! 

that photo seems like sooooo long ago!  while {most} of that belly is gone, i can still remember the feeling of my little kicker and am so glad that she decided to finally make her debut 10 days late!

i can’t wait to spoil the princess even more this week in honor of her big ONE YEAR mark. 

i love my little shadow and her spunky personality – she brings so much joy and energy to our little family and it fills my heart to see she and her big brother beginning such a special, close bond – Argh – crying now!

Happy Friday!  We are taking some time off today to hang w/ the kids, catch a Miami baseball game, and then a double-date with Heather and Tarrey while all 4 cousins have a sleepover at Grandma and Pops!

WooHoo – can anyone say – SLEEPING IN????!!!!!

to the zoo with you

we have been SOOOOO happy with this little burst of warmer weather!  the kids are running off more energy with outdoor play during the day and katie is loving the break from being cooped up indoors!

tuesday was a trip to our wonderful lincoln park zoo – lions, tigers, and seals – OH MY!

 

katie said they loved it and jack asked 5 million questions (big surprise) about all the animals.  emmy was just amazed and somewhat confused as to why there were wild animals everywhere!

Our Princess’s Birthday Month

Miss Sass is TURNING ONE this month!!!!  EEEK!!!!

I can seriously hardly believe it.  The girl is so full of spunk and personality – going to be a rascal for sure.  :-)

I love the little blue-eyes owl design, as it reminds me of my big, blue-eyed gal who loves to “hoo, hoo” all throughout the house!

We are having a casual celebration with a few of our friends who have kiddos at a park in the neighborhood.  Playground Fun, Food, and Toasting Scott and I for surviving our first year of 2 kids!  :-)  HA!
