we have got a girl on the move!
emma pulled up to a stand in her crib on saturday afternoon and now the minute you put her in it she scoots over to the edge, and up she goes! she is so proud of it - just laughs and smiles like "Look at Me!" if you notice when she really lights up and smiles - that is when DADDY walks in or talks to her...she does that every night when he gets home.
i think i have written before on how emma likes to "growl." well - it left for a while, but now it is back with a vengeance! it is SO FUNNY and Emmy is SO SERIOUS about it. I tried to catch her a few times - you can hear it above in the crib video, Our little Gremlin. she is a chatty cathy, this one - constantly DADA, BABA...no MAMA yet, but i'm sure that is right around the corner, right? :-)
we had her 6 month doc appt on monday (one month late) - she is weighing in at 17lb 13oz (75%) and a long 28" (> 95%). she is seriously outgrowing all of her clothes and is now in 12 month pants. she can kiss those joe's jeans goodbye if she keeps this up! :-) all is well, the sinus infection is gone, and we didn't see any teeth, but that could come at any time. (or maybe i am just looking for a reason as to why she still wakes up at 12am every night!?) she is doing better sleeping - slept through the night with 1 minor "soothe" for the past 2 nights. THE BIG MOVE into Brother's room is Friday night - Wish us Luck!
do you think she is too long for her bouncy seat? :-)
she is also scooting around / army crawling - so fun to watch, but i don't know if we are ready yet! every day, she gets higher and higher up on her knees, so it is only a matter of time. we'll see if she is like big brother and walking at 10 months...
baby girl is almost 7 months - i can hardly believe it!
she will be SOOO fun at xmas - i just ordered her "first soft play doll" this week! (Saving her American Girl so she doesn't destroy it!)
