Last weekend was not only exciting that it was Emma's 2nd birthday, but Jack also got a new "big bike" and... HE LEARNED TO RIDE WITHOUT TRAINING WHEELS!!!
I know I am being boastful, but he really was nothing short of amazing --- a very proud parent moment! He has been saying for a couple of months now that taking his training wheels off was a goal of his for the summer, but Scott had him pumped up about it on Saturday and he was über-geeked. So, off they came, and literally, OFF HE WENT without hesitation! No fear, and even when he wobbled or fell, he got right back on.

I did get his second attempt on video...
It was seriously so exciting, None of us could stop smiling!
Day 2...Jack took a little tumble in a puddle...(after his first words of the morning were "can we go ride bikes now??")
But he got right back on! He also learned how to start himself by Day 2 without a push - next is upgrading to his Big Bike, which may be a bit.
Emma also got her first bike - a pink trike made for 2 from Grandma & Pop! She is a little light for it, but is getting the peddling down!
Finally, Grandma got a tandem for her bike which Jack and Daddy broke in on a long ride - he loved it!
It was SUCH a great weekend of goals achieved!!!!
