Trick or Treat!

This year we have Curious George (so appropriate for my little MR. WHY") and his Banana…I think Emma looks hilarious!

Katie took the kids over to The Korbmacher’s to have a Halloween Party this morning with Dylan and Baby Will – she said that they had a great time and was shocked that Jack actually put on his costume.  He despises ANY accessory, hat, costume, etc.  So…we’ll see if he actually wears it on Sunday when we Trick or Treat with friends!

Katie has had an entire week of Halloween Activities for my munchkins – caramel apples, cookies, painting glitter pumpkins, special counting activities…considering that they were “shut ins” for most of the week due to the weather, it was a nice week to snuggle up inside.  Thanks, Katie!

We carved our pumpkins this week, too – Jack did NOT like the “yucky” inside, but I adore roasted pumpkin seeds, so we dug in!  He requested the “goastie” and designed Emmy’s for her, too.  Of course, Mr. Do-It-Myself just wanted to use the knife.  Of course.

 

In other big news…

Miss E said “DA-DA” this morning!  She looked RIGHT AT SCOTT and said it!  Then she kept repeating it – it was adorable!  I know that she probably wasn’t REALLY saying it in reference to him, but a big step with some consonant sounds!  Adorable!  And she wants to crawl SOOOO badly.  She is now loving standing at the ottoman and playing!

And Jack is writing the letter “A” all by himself – UP, Down, Across!  Katie is working on a letter a week with him and he is really enjoying it.  Way to go, buddy!  He is still spelling his name – A, J, C, K – So cute!
