we made a last minute trip up to scott’s parents last night to get some things for the house (aka go “shopping” in their crawl space”, and they had ended up getting about 8” of snow in the past couple of days.
so while scott and i were shoveling their driveway, little miss emma decided to hop on one of their bikes and just took off! she has a tricycle, but has never been tall enough/strong enough to be on a 2 wheeler, but she just TOOK OFF! She was so proud of herself and just kept riding up and down, up and down the driveway on snow and ice while wearing a bulky coat, snow boots, and mittens. she even got the steering and braking down!
i forsee upcycling jack’s little 2 wheel bike into a pink explosion for her birthday (it is currently red/silver, but i’m sure we can girl it up!) – she will be thrilled!
So proud of our big girl – Go EMMA!
