emma started mini-ballet in january and has really enjoyed it! I think more than anything, she enjoys having an activity “of her own” that jack doesn’t do or know much about. :-)
this week’s class was parent observation day, so sophia and i got to watch her perform, which was so fun and cute! she was actually pretty reserved this class, which surprised me, but she followed miss katrina’s directions well, and definetly liked the “active dancing” more, so maybe in the fall i’ll try a more jazz dance class and/or gymnastics.
all of the little girls are so cute running around in their tutus!
so proud of our little ballerina! she starts an all-star sports class in a couple of weeks where twice a week, she tries out a different sport – soccer, baseball, hockey, volleyball, etc. I’m anxious to see how she likes that (jack had to talk her into doing it – she said it wasn’t for girls. :-) )
